The company, TOMELLERI S.r.l., began its activities in 1984 designing and supplying custom solutions especially in the Telescopes and related Subsystems and Instruments Sectors, as well as Machine Tools, Measurement Instruments and Machinery for marble, and Industrial Automation generally.
Today, the company TOMELLERI S.r.l. is principally active in the following fields:
- Telescopes and Instruments, carrying our research, design and supply of subsystems for Telescopes and related instruments, especially Operators and Hexapods, Support Systems for mirrors and lenses and Operating and Measurement Systems for principal axes.
- High performance Hydrostatic pads and high precision instruments that have been studied in particular for the principal axes of Telescopes, and other applications
- Special devices dedicated in particular to high precision movement used in a wide range of applications
- TCS Systemsused for Machine Tools and Measurement Instruments for the correction of related specific errors
